What to Expect on the Kemer Scuba Diving

Your scuba diving day starts with a short hotel pickup in Kemer and a quick transfer to Kemer Marina. Unlike tours operating from further away, you spend more time on the water and less time travelling — which means more diving, more relaxing and more of the Mediterranean at its best.

On board, your certified dive instructors welcome the group and run through a thorough safety briefing. Equipment is fitted individually — wetsuit, BCD, tank, mask and fins — and the instructors check everything before you enter the water. First-time divers will practice breathing through the regulator at the surface before submerging.

The first dive is in Aquarium Bay, a sheltered and shallow site at approximately 5 metres depth. This is one of the most beginner-friendly dive spots in the region — calm, clear and absolutely full of life. Rays of sunlight filter through the water as you glide over rocky outcrops and sandy patches. Schools of sea bream, wrasses and other Mediterranean species move around you as if curious about their visitor. Duration: approximately 20–25 minutes.

Between dives, the boat anchors in a peaceful bay. Take a swim in open water, put on a snorkel mask and explore the shallows, or simply stretch out on the sun deck with a cold drink. There is no rush.

Lunch is served on board — freshly prepared, warm and satisfying. After eating, the boat moves to the second dive site.

Kiriş Bay is the second dive, going deeper to 10–15 metres. With greater depth comes a richer underwater landscape — crevices, sea grass meadows and a wider variety of marine life. Your instructor is right beside you for the entire dive. No experience is needed — swimming ability is not even required as the equipment fully supports you in the water.

The day ends with a return to Kemer Marina and a comfortable drop-off at your hotel. A short, easy day that leaves a lasting impression.
