What to Expect on the Antalya Scuba Diving

Your day begins with a comfortable hotel pickup in Antalya and a transfer to the marina, where your diving boat awaits. As you set off onto the Mediterranean, your certified dive instructors will give a full briefing covering equipment fitting, safety procedures and basic underwater techniques. Whether this is your first time breathing underwater or you are a returning diver, the team will make sure you feel confident before entering the water.

The first dive takes place in Aquarium Bay, one of the most beautiful and sheltered spots along this stretch of coastline. At a depth of approximately 5 metres and lasting around 20–25 minutes, this introductory dive lets you get comfortable with the equipment and experience the sensation of breathing underwater while surrounded by schools of fish and vivid sea life. The visibility here is exceptional — you will feel as if you are floating inside an aquarium.

Between dives, relax on the sun deck, take a swim in the open sea, try snorkelling, or simply lie back and enjoy the coastal scenery. Your instructor is on hand to answer questions and chat through what you saw below.

A delicious lunch is served on board — freshly prepared and filling, giving you the energy for the afternoon ahead.

The second dive heads to Kiriş Bay, going a little deeper at 10–15 metres. With more depth comes more marine life — expect rocky formations, sea grass beds and a greater variety of fish. Your instructor stays right beside you throughout, so there is nothing to worry about. Swimming ability is not required to participate — the equipment supports you fully in the water.

After both dives, the boat heads back to the marina. You will have your photos from underwater (ask the team about the photo package), fresh air in your lungs and the quiet satisfaction of having seen a world most people never get to explore. Transfer back to your hotel in Antalya completes the day.
